PET (polyethylene terephthalate) is the dominant material used in plastic drinking bottle production and can be recycled into a variety of useful materials; which now includes a backpack and a reusable shopping bag. The backpack is ChicoBag's DayPack20 rePETe - an advanced, lightweight backpack made of durable, recycled PET ripstop and is designed for the adventurer in us all. This industry leading backpack is made of 89% recycled content and lists the recycled materials used in production on the backside of the pouch.
